Interested in hosting a screening of Crucible of
War?
As part of educational outreach, we are organizing
a number of screenings and discussions at universities, NGOs, think tanks, academic
conferences, and community organizations.
What we can offer?
A screening of Crucible
of War (45 minutes) in any of the following video formats: DVD, DV, DVCAM,
Beta-SP, or VHS.
A discussion with the director and/or producer of
the documentary following the screening.
Lesson plans to accompany the discussion.
These are available online or in print copy.
Publicity for your organization through a listing
of the screening on our website and in our own outreach e-mails (which reach several
thousand people around the world).
Film can be shown as part of a fundraising event
for your organization*
Press release and other outreach templates to get
the word out to your local community.
Director and producer are available for local
press interviews and can make up to 3 minutes of the documentary available for local
television news coverage.
Videos on hand with special discount pricing for
those attending the screening.
What we would need from you?
In lieu of charging a screening fee (common for
many independently-
produced films), we would ask only for travel expenses to be covered for the director
and/or producer. This would include air or land travel on a low-cost carrier and one
or two nights accommodation. (Note: We are open to organizing regional screenings at
multiple institutions to reduce costs as much as possible)
Assistance with outreach to your local
communities (since you know them best). We greatly prefer screenings which are open
to the community at large, as well as to your traditional target audience of students,
organization members, etc.
A link to www.crucibleofwar.com
on your website and/or other materials promoting the event.
* Note on fundraising:
While we welcome those with a wide variety of political opinions at our screenings,
we would only be able to participate in fundraising events
which are for organizations which do not promote nationalist agendas.
