Make a donation, While it may seem odd to the average person that we would still seek donations for a film which is already in distribution, the reality of documentary filmmaking is that:
the filmmakers still have a number of outstanding expenses;
we will not reap any distribution profits until our distributor has recouped the cost of packagaing and marketing the DVD;
we cannot even contemplate selling the film to the television market without upgrading the rights to the archival news footage used in the film. We estimate this will cost us more than $10,000;
we would like to accompany the film to more university, academic conference, and NGO screenings, but often these organizations are interested in showing the film, but cannot afford to cover travel expenses.
